There is no evidence of an active shooter at the University of South Carolina after multiple alerts about a shooter in the school’s main library were sent out earlier Sunday evening.
“We received an unconfirmed report of an active shooter at the Thomas Cooper library,” a university spokesperson told a CNN affiliate. “At this point, we have no injuries, and we have no confirmation that there actually was a shooter at the library.”
An all-clear was also issued by the university just after 8 p.m.
