Two men have been charged in a Manassas burglary spree after stolen items showed up on Craigslist. Thomas M. Lopez, 19, of the 8600 block of Terrace View Court, and Larry S. Salamanca, 19, of the 8500 block of Fairfax Street, are accused of committing a string of burglaries in the Bull Run area.
Prince William County police spokesman Jonathan Perok said 11 burglaries were reported between November and early January. Detectives are still determining how many are linked to Lopez and Salamanca.
Police learned in mid-January that stolen goods were appearing on Craigslist. Police then searched their Manassas homes.
Laptop computers, jewelry, coins and a handgun were taken from homes.
