Denver man found dead in D.C.
A Colorado man was found beaten to death near Sherman Circle in Northwest Washington.
Police and witnesses said the man, later identified as Gary Dederichs of Denver, was found lifeless against a garage door in an alley in the 800 block of Emerson Street Northwest on Tuesday evening. The 66-year-old man had suffered serious trauma to the head, and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police were still investigating on Wednesday.
Women witness man exposed at park
Anne Arundel County police are looking for a man who allegedly exposed himself in a park.
Shortly before noon Tuesday, police received a report about the incident at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. Two women told officers that they were walking on a trail, pushing a baby stroller, when a man on a bicycle passed them twice.
The man started running toward the women, grabbing and exposing his genitals, asking the women to “come over here.”
The man is described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s who is about 6 feet tall and 175 pounds. He was wearing khaki pants and a burgundy hooded sweatshirt with a “Hollister” logo on the front, officials said.
