Cops hope tattoo can help solve Loudoun sex assault case

Loudoun County investigators hope a distinctive tattoo will help them find the man who sexually assaulted a woman in March. The woman got into the man’s Jeep near the Ashburn Village Shopping Plaza to use his cell phone. He refused repeated requests to let her out of the vehicle and sexually assaulted the woman before releasing her, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said.

Police released a sketch of the tattoo on the man’s wrist — a series of concentric rectangles — Wednesday. The man is white and in his early 30s. He has a medium build, blond hair, a large mole on his neck and gaps in his teeth.

Tipsters can call the Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-0475.
