Baltimore County police are searching for an unidentified female who is about 45 years old and is a suspect in three identity thefts in which she withdrew money from several banks.
Detectives said the suspect obtained and forged checking withdrawal tickets in the names of three bank customers at Provident Bank locations.
She withdrew several thousands of dollars in cash in 14 transactions at bank locations throughout Baltimore County and one bank in Shrewsbury, Pa., police said.
Detectives don’t know how the suspect obtained the victims’ personal information, but she is accused of targeting customers at six banks since May 2007, police said.
