Police are investigating the sexual assault of a female Georgetown University student.
The university’s Department of Public Safety said a man attacked the student on 36th Street near N Street NW at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday. Authorities said the student was sexually assaulted and suffered injuries, but did not provide further details.
No arrests have been made. The suspect is described as white, 18 to 22 years old and 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall. He had short brown hair and was wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans.
Police urged students not to walk alone at night.
