Body of missing Md. college student found

A body found in upstate New York is a college student from Maryland who was reported missing more than a month ago.

The Rochester Institute of Technology, where 21-year-old Frederick native George Delany was a junior, said police on Sunday night found human remains along with items that belonged to Delany.

A medical examiner confirmed Monday afternoon that the body was Delany, the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reported. A cause of death has not been determined, but authorities said there were no indications of foul play.

Delany was last seen March 12 at his off-campus apartment. His family has said he was frustrated with school, but gave no notice that he was going anywhere.
