Montgomery County fire investigators arrested two people accused of setting fire to a building at the Gaithersburg High School baseball field.
Eighteen-year-old Zachariah Maurer was charged with arson, disrupting school activities and related crimes. Charges against a 16-year-old were pending.
The incident happened the afternoon of April 6. Fire officials said the suspects poured a flammable liquid on the press box behind home plate and ignited it. The damage was estimated to be more than $20,000.
