A 19-year-old died after a shooting in Northeast D.C. , police said.
Francisco Orlando Rivas, from Hyattsville, was shot in the area of 10th and Gallatin streets NE, police said.
Police responded to the area around 6:25 p.m. Thursday for the report of a man down. They found Rivas suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, and he was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
