A scheduled “candy delivery” helped the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office make 15 arrests on Valentine’s Day.
Sheriff’s deputies working under the company name “Keystone Candigrams” set up scheduled candy delivery times with the 15 people Sunday, but served arrest warrants instead of candy.
When the deputies arrived to make “the delivery,” they carried a candy box with a handcuffs and scales of justice design printed on it and then clasped real handcuffs on the recipient.
Sheriff Ron Bateman said recipients “scheduled their own arrests.”
