Body found in Rock Creek Park
D.C. police say they found a woman’s body floating in the water in Rock Creek Park around 10:40 a.m. Saturday morning.
The woman was discovered near the 3000 block of K Street NW.
Police were investigating Saturday. No further details were available.

A driver fled the scene of a single-car crash that killed the car’s passenger early Saturday morning, according to Prince George’s County police.
The car overturned near the intersection of Suitland Road and Hil-Mar Drive in Silver Hill around 1:30 a.m. Police found an injured, female passenger and took her to a nearby hospital where she died around 3 a.m.
