Md. man gets 30 years for Craigslist attacks
A Bladensburg man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for attacking four women he met through Craigslist. Edgar D. Romero, 26, contacted the women through online advertisements for “erotic services” and met each of them at a hotel in the District in 2008 and 2009. Romero and accomplices would surprise the women with a knife or gun, bind them with duct tape, and steal their belongings, including money, laptop computers and credit cards, prosecutors said.
