Four Woodbridge teens were arrested earlier this week after allegedly stealing and then joyriding in a 2003 Ford Explorer, Prince William County police said.
Christopher Warren Richards, 18, was the only teen named by police. The names of the others, ages 17, 15 and 14, were not released because they are juveniles.
The four allegedly stole the sport utility vehicle on the 16000 block of Laconia Circle in Woodbridge sometime Sunday night, police said.
The owners reported it stolen around 7:20 a.m. Monday.
A few hours later, a police officer watched as the Explorer pulled into a store parking lot, and arrested the four occupants. Police said the four also may be linked to two robberies that occurred in Woodbridge on Sunday night.
