U.S. marshals are looking for a 57-year-old District man wanted for violating his parole on cocaine convictions.
Odonald Herschel Parker has an extensive criminal history in D.C., including assault, burglary and six narcotics-related convictions, deputy marshals said.
“His criminal activity dates back to the 1980s. He has been given numerous opportunities to conform to the rules of society, yet refuses to do so,”
said Deputy U.S. Marshal Shane Clark. “It’s time to get him off the streets, again.”
Parker is described as a black male of light complexion, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 275 pounds with green eyes and balding gray or brown hair. He often goes by the nickname “Reds.”
He has lived at several places in Southeast and Northwest D.C., where he has family.
Anyone with information on Parker’s whereabouts is urged to call the U.S. Marshals Service at 301-489-1717 or 800-336-0102.
Tips from readers of The Washington Examiner have led directly to the capture of 18 of the “Most Wanted” fugitives featured in the paper each week, including a two-time convicted murderer, an Adams Morgan mugger and a kidnapping suspect who had narrowly escaped from police in a wild shootout near the National Arboretum.
Less than two weeks ago, a convicted sex offender from North Carolina surrendered in the District after reading a story about himself in The Examiner.
The Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, run by the U.S. Marshals Service, is composed of 30 federal, state and local agencies from Baltimore to Norfolk. The unit has captured more than 29,000 wanted fugitives since its creation in 2004.
