2 charged after toddler eats marijuana

A mother and her roommate were charged with reckless endangerment after the woman’s 2-year-old daughter ingested marijuana in the pair’s Manassas hotel room.

Nicole S. Corbett, 22, and Fernando V. Booker, 25, both of the 7700 block of Blackhouse Court in Manassas, were charged with reckless endangerment of a child and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

The toddler ate an unknown amount of marijuana at a Red Roof Inn in Manassas where the three were staying, Prince William County police said. The mother called 911 to report a possible overdose.

The girl was determined to be OK and is in the custody of child protective services.
