Prince William County police say they have arrested one of the two men who allegedly barged into a Lake Ridge home looking for drugs only to realize they were in the wrong house.
Shyreece Brown was arrested Tuesday on robbery, assault and abduction charges after police said they executed a search at his home at 3400 Braddock Drive in Dale City.
On March 11, police say Brown and an unidentified man broke into a 29-year-old woman’s house on the 12100 block of Presidio Way while her three children — all under 5 years old — were home. They forced the woman into a bedroom and demanded drugs. One of the suspects searched the house. When he didn’t find any drugs, the suspects realized they were in the wrong house and left. No one was injured.
Brown has been held without bail and police continue to investigate.
