A Manassas subcontractor was accused of using a rifle to try to enter a home of a man who owed him money for construction work.
Police said Carlos Ross-Guzman, 29, banged on the doors of a home in the 7700 block of Roseberry Farm Drive early Sunday. He then had Sandra Estrada-Barriga, 40, get his rifle from her vehicle. Police said the man used the rifle to break a window before they showed up. Police found Estrada-Barriga a few blocks away with the rifle and her daughter, 13, and son, 3. Ross-Guzman was charged with burglary with intent to commit robbery while armed. Estrada-Barriga was charged as an accessory.
