A 21-year-old Northeast D.C. resident was arrested Saturday night in connection with a shooting that killed 48-year-old Howard Harold Williams, also of Northeast, Saturday morning, according to police.
Metropolitan Police arrived at the 300 block of 18th Place, NE, at 9:56 a.m. Saturday and found Williams unconscious after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds, police say. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshals arrested 21-year-old Lester James Wright on murder charges at 10:25 p.m. Saturday.
