The suspect then fled from the bank on foot, police said. Authorities didn’t disclose how much money the man obtained.</span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.</span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>The suspect is described as a black man with a medium complexion who was in his mid-to-late 20s. He was 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 2 inches tall and had a thin build, brown eyes and a mustache. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hooded jacket, light-colored pants and light blue tennis shoes.</span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>Anyone with information about the heist is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or 1-888-919-2746.
