A former volunteer firefighter and his girlfriend were charged in a rash of fires set on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
Virginia State Police say Charles R. Smith III, 38, and Tonya Bundick, 40, both of Parksley, Va., set most of the nearly 80 fires that authorities have been investigating since November.
