U.S. Marshals are looking for a District man wanted on multiple warrants, including for assault with intent to kill, and they are asking the public for information that can lead to his arrest.
The warrants for 34-year-old Jaamill Hipps were issued within two weeks of each other in October.

Hipps is known to hang out in the area of Kennedy and Ninth streets in Northwest Washington, near Theodore Roosevelt Senior High School.
“We need to get this guy off the streets before he commits another crime,” said Deputy Bryan Gillespy of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force.
On Oct. 11, 2011, an arrest warrant was issued charging Hipps with a parole violation stemming from an original cocaine conviction. Police said on Oct. 17, Hipps used a knife to try to kill someone in the 5400 block of Illinois Avenue NW. An arrest warrant was issued charging him with assault with intent to kill three days later.
Hipps is listed as 5-feet-8 and 123 pounds.
He has an arrest history dating back to 1997 with arrests on charges of possession with intent to distribute cocaine; marijuana possession; assault with a dangerous weapon-gun; and being a fugitive from justice, marshals said.
