Montgomery County police are asking the public to help them find a Silver Spring man wanted on charges of sexual assault on a minor.
The offenses occurred over an eight-month period beginning in spring 2010 in the Brooks Farm area of Silver Spring, police said.
Dwan Allen Brooks is wanted on charges of second-degree rape, sexual abuse of a minor, and other related charges. Brooks, 53, is described as a black male, 5-feet-10, 220 pounds. He has a piercing in his left ear and was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue baseball cap and carrying a rolling duffle bag. He sometimes sells jewelry, perfume or watches on the street, and frequents pawn shops and thrift stores.
