Missing MoCo man’s death probed as homicide

A Silver Spring man reported missing on Halloween was found dead in Anne Arundel County, and police are investigating his death as a homicide. Montgomery County police said a passerby called police after seeing a man’s body on Race Road near Park Circle Drive in Hanover.

Police identified the man as 37-year-old Manuel Enrique Diaz Gomez, who was reported missing by family members on Oct. 31. Relatives had last been able to reach Gomez on Oct. 27, police said.
