Alexandria police arrested a man who allegedly attacked two women responding to an apartment advertisement, officials said.
James Savage Click, 23, was charged with two counts of abduction and two counts of felonious assault, according to the Alexandria Police Department. Authorities believe Click placed the rental apartment ad.
About 6 p.m. Tuesday, two women responding to the ad in the 2200 block of Mill Road were grabbed and pulled into a vacant building. They were beaten inside the building, although they were able to fight back and escape, officials said.
The women were treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital, officials said.
