Man arrested in attack of woman, 84
DNA evidence has lead to the arrest of a man who attacked an 84-year-old Suitland woman, police said.

During the assault, the woman bit her attacker on the hand, causing him to bleed and leave a trail of blood, Prince George’s County police said. Detectives were able identify the suspect through DNA testing.
Rodney William Blanton, 56, of Suitland, was charged Thursday with assault, burglary and robbery.
Police said Blanton posed as a neighbor on Feb. 1, assaulted her, stole money and fled. The woman was on the floor of her home for more than 24 hours before a neighbor found her.
Illegal alien charged with pimping girl
An illegal immigrant was charged with transporting a teenage girl across state lines as part of his prostitution business.
Federal prosecutors in Virginia said Julio Cesar Revoloria Ramos, 28, a native of Guatemala, began prostituting the girl in 2009 when she was 15 years old. Ramos drove her from Maryland to Northern Virginia to have sex with clients.
He continued to prostitute the girl over the next year-and-a-half, driving her to various locations in Annandale and Falls Church, prosecutors said. The girl was recruited by Ramos’ girlfriend, who then lived with Ramos and his girlfriend in Hyattsville, prosecutors said.
Ex-coach gets 25 years for child porn
A former Hagerstown man and youth soccer coach was sentenced to 25 years in prison for producing child pornography.
Roger Allen Repp III admitted to secretly taking pictures of a girl using a hidden camera inside the girl’s bedroom and bathroom.
He then distributed the pictures of the girl to pedophiles over the Internet in return for child pornography, prosecutors said.
At the time of his arrest in 2011, Repp was a coach with Locomotive FC, a Washington County soccer club.
