Man killed in hit-and-run

Prince George’s County Police are investigating the hit-and-run death of a Hyattsville man.

Around 9 p.m. Saturday, police said, 28-year-old Samuel Diaz was struck by a silver sports utility vehicle while walking in the 2400 block of University Boulevard in Lewisdale. Diaz was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later.
