The Secret Service now says two bullets struck a White House window, and federal authorities are investigating whether it’s connected to the shots fired on Friday.

The bullet was stopped by ballistic glass, and another round of ammunition was found on the White House exterior. The bullets were found Tuesday.

Officers are looking for an Idaho man suspected of firing a semi-automatic rifle between the White House and the Washington Monument on Friday.

After the incident, authorities had said they did not believe that the White House was the target of the gunfire.

U.S. Park Police have an arrest warrant for 21-year-old Oscar Ramiro Ortega on charges of carrying a dangerous weapon, and federal authorities have created a task force to investigate the case.

Ortega was driving on 1600 block of Constitution NW when the gunshot were fired from his vehicle, police said. Ortega abandoned his vehicle near the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. Police said they found an assault rifle inside the vehicle and other evidence tying Ortega to the shooting.
