A man who allegedly hit another man on the head with a machete was arrested Tuesday, authorities said.
Eddie Ivey was arrested on an attempted first-degree murder warrant, according to the Prince George’s County sheriff’s office.
The arrest warrant states that on April 10, Ivey confronted another man in the 4700 block of Suitland Road before assaulting and striking him with a machete, sheriff’s office officials said.
Deputies arrested Ivey in the 9300 block of D’arcy Road in Forestville. He is being held on a no-bond status at the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
