A father and son were in critical condition Thursday after suffering carbon monoxide poisoning in their Glen Burnie house, Anne Arundel fire authorities said.
The 79-year-old father and his 54-year-old son were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after firefighters were called to their house in the 100 block of Thomas Road shortly after midnight.
Firefighters found an “extremely dangerous level” of the odorless gas in the room where the furnace was located.
