Police searching for missing EPA employee

District police are searching for a 47-year-old woman who was last seen around 10 p.m. Feb. 12 at her home on the 5800 block of Fourth Street NW.

Pamela J. Butler is a program analyst with the Environmental Protection Agency and generally keeps in close contact with family, including her 76-year-old mother.

Police said they have video surveillance from her home security system that shows her talking to her boyfriend a little before 10 p.m. Feb. 12. Her boyfriend can be seen going back into the home several times before leaving. Police said they’ve questioned him and he is cooperating.

Butler has a dark complexion, is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.
