Two Germantown men have been accused of using BB guns to shoot out the windows of 57 vehicles.
Mariano Vilchis, 29, and Raul Molina, 22, both of the 13500 block of Demetrias Way, were charged with four counts of malicious destruction of property valued over $500 and 53 counts of malicious destruction of property valued under $500.
Montgomery County police say the two drove around Germantown, Gaithersburg and Rockville shooting out the windows of parked vehicles with a BB gun between July 26 and Aug. 3.
Witnesses provided a description of the vehicle Aug. 3, police said. Police said a search of Vilchis’ vehicle found numerous BB guns and ammunition.
They have been released on $10,000 bond.
