A Maryland man has been arrested for a 2011 fatal shooting of a man found in a burning car, police said.
Sean Donnelle Hawkins, 37, of Waldorf, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 34-year-old Antwain Henderson, D.C. police said.
On Aug. 31, Prince George’s County firefighters responded to the 800 block of Balsamtree Place in Capitol Heights for a vehicle fire, police said. After they put out the fire, Henderson’s body was found, and Henderson was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation found that Henderson had been shot and killed in the 5800 block of Field Place NE.
