The ad, now nearly 3 years old, has reportedly been re-broadcast on prime-time television hours of 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. while also being featured in ads on Instagram and YouTube. Depp has since been added to the Dior Eau Sauvage Elixir campaign, according to a report.

Dior signed the actor to the campaign in 2015, but when it was first released in 2019, it faced backlash for alleged appropriations of Native American culture. The first clips of the ad featured an indigenous dancer with a headdress, along with the name, alluding to the word “savage,” which enraged social media at the time.

Today’s ad shows Depp front and center, playing his guitar and walking with wolves, but it no longer features a dancer.

Depp is also promoting a new album with guitarist Jeff Beck following the verdict. The two were together in the United Kingdom when the verdict was revealed in the Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia.
