CNN drops its lowest New Year’s Eve ratings in five years

CNN began 2025 with its worst ratings for the network’s New Year’s Eve coverage in five years. 

According to Nielsen data shared with the Washington Examiner, the network’s 11 p.m. broadcast on Dec. 31, 2024, saw its smallest audience since 2019.
