Joe Concha suggests Hamas voted on Glamour’s Women of the Year

Washington Examiner Senior Writer Joe Concha mocked Glamour magazine’s annual Women of the Year list and the addition of actress Rachel Zegler

Glamour continued a tradition, established in 1990, of publishing a list of influential women in its November edition. Zegler was one of dozens featured, with Glamour writing that she “is building a powerful platform—and she isn’t afraid to use it.”

“Rachel Zegler. Woman of the year. Who voted on this? Hamas for Glamour? She said after the 2024 election, ‘F Trump,’” Concha said on Fox News’s Fox and Friends First Tuesday. “She embarrassed her co-star Gal Gadot with free Palestine tweets while she was promoting the movie.”

Zegler addressed the controversy surrounding her past X post that read, “always remember, free Palestine,” to Glamour. The actress compared herself to a duck to say the negative reaction “rolls right off my back these days,” like how water rolls off a duck’s back.

“I think that there’s this idea that we as public figures can’t have thoughts or feelings because we are like paper dolls to a majority of the public,” Zegler said.

Concha noted the list made some snubs.

“That’s where we are at this point. And even some WNBA players as well were named women of the year. But Caitlin Clark wasn’t included in that group. Go figure,” Concha said.

Clark was the No. 1 WNBA draft pick in 2024. During her debut WNBA game, Clark tied for the highest scorer with Dallas Wings player and fellow rookie Jaelyn Brown.

Instead, Glamour highlighted six WNBA players: Napheesa Collier, Lexie Hull, Jonquel Jones, and Satou and Nyara Sabally, all veterans in the league.
