Four people died and at least three were injured after a multicar crash in Virginia on Wednesday.
The crash happened at about 2 a.m. on Interstate Highway 95 near Henrico County after a sedan traveling north ran off the road and struck a guardrail followed by a 2020 Tesla that was heading south, Virginia State Police said.

The Tesla allegedly hit an unoccupied 1999 Ford van, which was part of an active highway work zone. The sedan had overturned in the southbound lanes.
Five people who were traveling in the sedan were ejected from the vehicle, with one surviving passenger who was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
The two passengers in the Tesla were also taken to the hospital, but their conditions are unknown.
No highway workers were injured amid the crash.
State police were seeking help finding a missing German shepherd who was aboard the Tesla.

The dog has a collar on, but police did not have a description to share.
Police are investigating the crash.
