Republicans ask Garland and Wray to testify at summer hearings

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) asked the top officials at the Department of Justice and FBI on Wednesday to testify at a pair of summer hearings as part of Congress’s annual oversight of the agencies.

Jordan requested Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray appear on July 24 and June 26, respectively, for the scheduled hearings, according to a letter obtained by the Washington Examiner.
