Las Vegas Sheriff Kevin McMahill will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. PST to discuss recent developments in the Tesla car bombing outside of Trump Tower in Las Vegas on New Year’s Day.

Authorities have identified 37-year-old Matthew Alan Livelsberger, an active duty service member, as the dead suspect inside the vehicle. The bombing injured seven people.
McMahill has dubbed the attack to be an “isolated incident.” It comes just hours after a man drove his pickup truck into a crowd in New Orleans, killing 15 people and injuring dozens more.
