A new poll of the Colorado Senate race from CNN has Republican challenger Cory Gardner leading sitting Democrat Mark Udall by 4 points. Gardner is earning 50 percent support from Colorado likely voters, his highest rating yet, with Udall earning 46 percent support.
According to the Real Clear Politics average of polls, Gardner, a two-term House member, has a two-point lead, and has led in 7 of the last 8 polls of the race.
Gardner, meanwhile, has released a new TV ad saying Udall’s campaign has “gotten too tired and too mean.”
“Senator Udall’s brand of politics divides us,” Gardner says, looking directly into the camera. “It keeps us from fixing Obama’s failures, and it puts our children deep in debt.” Watch the ad below:
