Braley, of course, is the candidate for the U.S. Senate from Iowa who is temporarily famous for celebrating the fact that he is a trial lawyer, not some farmer, and has led the fight against tort reform. He made this brag to a group of Texas trial lawyers he was soliciting for cash.
Senator Warren said:
… in a written statement emailed to supporters and reporters. “Bruce Braley led the Populist Caucus in the House of Representatives – and is focused on economic fairness, investing in education, and addressing our retirement crisis.”
William Jennings Bryan wept.
