Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) vowed to vote in support of all of President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees, stressing a need to get to work as soon as possible.
In the two weeks since Trump won the election against Vice President Kamala Harris, the president-elect has been busy nominating people and lawmakers for various positions in his administration, including former Rep. Matt Gaetz for attorney general. When asked if she plans to vote for Gaetz as attorney general, Blackburn said Trump has picked “some great nominees” and that she and her fellow Senate Republicans would be ready to support “every single one of them.”
