Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) underscored how the recent cuts to the federal government are needed so it can address the national debt of the United States.

He added that the majority of voters don’t want their tax dollars to be wasted, which he argued has been going on for some time now, pointing to the U.S. Agency of International Development as an example.
