As the fallout from President Donald Trump‘s tariff policy continues, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer is testifying before the Senate Finance Committee.
The hearing, titled “The President’s 2025 Trade Policy Agenda,” is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Capitol Hill.

The president’s blanket 10% tariffs went into effect on Saturday, while the higher rates for select countries are scheduled to go into place on Wednesday. Trump has claimed he will not back down from the tariffs but has engaged in talks with Japan and South Korea.
