The Terminal List author and former Navy SEAL Jack Carr said he wasn’t surprised by liberal critics trashing his show and its leading actor, Chris Pratt.
“It falls right in line with everything that I understand about the current culture and climate in America right now,” Carr told Fox News’s Tucker Carlson. “It seems to have triggered quite a few of these critics.”

The action thriller fell flat with critics, who gave it a 40% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Fans, however, disagreed. The audience score for The Terminal List came in at 95% on the ratings website.

“The 95% viewer rating, audience rating, makes it all worth it,” Carr added. “We didn’t make it for the critics. We made it for those in the arena.”
The Terminal List is based on Carr’s book, which follows a Navy SEAL, portrayed by Pratt, as he investigates why his platoon was attacked during its high-stakes secret mission.
“Chris Pratt is excellent, this is really a different character for him and he plays it so well!” a fan review reads. “I don’t get why the critics don’t rate this highly, is it because he’s conservative and/or Christian?”
