The man widely considered to be the greatest golfer of all time has a net worth that totals more than $1 billion, according to a Friday Forbes report.

In reaching the billion-dollar mark, Woods, 46, joins the company of Michael Jordan and LeBron James as athletes estimated to be worth more than $1 billion.

While Woods is often lauded for his accomplishments as a golfer, less than 10% of his earnings come directly from the golf course, according to the report.

A significant amount of his wealth was cultivated through sponsorship and endorsement deals with brands including Nike, TaylorMade, Gatorade, and Monster Energy.

Woods also considers himself a businessman and not just an athlete.

Venturing into ownership and golf course design, his portfolio includes TGR Design, TGR Live, an event company, and TGR Ventures, the report noted.

He also reportedly invested in luxury mini-golf organization PopStroke.
