The anti-NYT: New ‘Conservative Bestseller List’ features Rush, Bush, Huckabee

Tired of being ignored by mainstream media bestseller lists, especially the New York Times, a new “Conservative Bestseller List” is being released Thursday that features the current stars of the business: Rush Limbaugh, former President George W. Bush, Fox’s Bill O’Reilly and two likely presidential candidates.

The Conservative Book Club‘s list, to be unveiled every Wednesday, is an alternative to what many conservatives see as liberally biased lists from the Times and other papers.

Where the Times at times ignores the latest sales data of top selling authors such as David Limbaugh and Dinesh D’Sousa in keeping them off its lists, the conservative list will be based on the most updated sales numbers so “readers will now know how their favorite authors fare against their competition,” said the Club.

George W. Bush’s book about his dad is on the Top 10 list of bestsellers.

“There are so many incredibly talented conservative authors out there, but not all of them get a fair shake in the mainstream media and on other bestseller lists,” said Christopher Malagisi, editor of the Conservative Book Club. “Along with recently launching our new online community, the Conservative Bestseller List is another example why the Conservative Book Club is the only reliable one-stop shop for conservative readers.”

One of those likely to be on future lists will be author and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

“For 50 years, the Conservative Book Club has been an oasis for free market-thinking, freedom-loving book enthusiasts looking for an alternative to the biased mainstream media,” he said.
