Conservative media doyenne Laura Ingraham’s news website LifeZette won congressional press credentials this week, a step further than two other sites, Breitbart and Sputnik have made.
The Senate Periodical Press Gallery granted the passes, key to access on Capitol Hill and a huge boost to credibility.
“We were very pleased to have been voted in as a permanent, credentialed member of the Senate periodical gallery,” LifeZette political editor Jon Conradi told Secrets.

Breitbart’s bid for press credentials has been delayed, not killed, over concerns about conservative funders. Sputnik was denied credentials because it is government sponsored by Russia.
Ever since it started in 2015, LifeZette has moved fast to cover politics and lifestyle news. It’s motto is “Life. Explained.”
It is credentialed by the White House and was the first news organization called on by White House Spokesman Sean Spicer in his first briefing.
