Sacked: Group to fly ‘#GoodellMustGo’ banner over AFC, NFC games

A group opposed to sexism plans to fly banners that read “#GoodellMustGo” over this weekend’s football championship games in Foxborough, Mass., and Seattle, Wash., to protest player violence against women and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s handling of the issue.

In addition, UltraViolent, a national women’s advocacy group, plans to air a video ad that shows a player slamming an innocent woman on the field.

They said that the ad is “part of a five-figure online ad buy and will appear on Sports Illustrated’s website SI.com.”

The group claims that Goodell has mishandled more than 55 cases of player domestic abuse. They want him to step down.
