President Trump isn’t the only one who’s tired of hearing about special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russia collusion and obstruction.
A new poll provided to Secrets finds that so do many Americans. The Zogby Analytics survey found “Mueller fatigue,” with 48% ready to move on and 40% not.
“When interpreting the Mueller report and whether they want to move on with their lives, voters largely follow party cues. Still, a plurality of all age and income groups, men, women, independents, and all city voters felt the Mueller report vindicated the president and said they were ready to move on with their lives,” said pollster Jonathan Zogby.

He did, however, find differences on racial and geographic grounds.
Most whites, 53%, agreed it is time for the country to move past the Mueller investigation and, presumably, the associated push for impeachment hearings based on it. But blacks and Hispanics disagreed.
And the poll revealed a geographic split in the nation over Mueller. Every single section of the country said it is ready to move on. But 52% of the Washington-obsessed East Coast disagreed with the statement: “The Mueller report has vindicated President Trump of any wrongdoing and I am ready to move on with my life.”
Zogby said there is a warning in the poll to House Democrats mulling impeachment. “Democrats must decide if they want to pursue impeachment based on their interpretation of the Mueller report. Right now a plurality of voters report ‘Mueller fatigue.’ Democrats might overplay their hand by pursuing impeachment based on the Mueller report findings, only to hurt their chances at taking back the Senate and White House in 2020,” he said.
