Gamblers are putting money on Sen. Bernie Sanders to sweep the Super Tuesday Democratic elections on March 3.
The latest betting odds provided to Secrets from Oddschecker show Sanders winning 13 of 14 contests. Sen. Joe Biden is the favorite in Alabama.
Biden, according to the site, is also slated to win South Carolina, as the polls have shown.
“This trajectory is a continuation of Sanders’ strong performance so far, having won all of the caucuses and primaries so far pending a recount in Iowa,” said Pete Watt, spokesman for the site that analyzes political bets in Britain, where it’s legal.
Asked about big-spending former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s chances, Watt said that he hasn’t caught fire yet with gamblers. “Bloomberg’s making very little progress in the betting markets — two debate performances have done little for him!” he told us.
